Scaling Back
November 13th, 2009
Mel and I had to make a really difficult decision the other day. We’ve been putting off making it for the past few weeks, but on Wednesday, we realized we were going to have to bite the bullet and do something we really didn’t want to do. We’re going back to one post a week, on Friday.
We didn’t decide to do this lightly. Between our full-time jobs and our paid commissions, Enoch was getting squashed. We were rushing to shove it in, and frankly, the quality as of late has not been acceptable. We can do better. And we will.

Anyone who provides free quality entertainment need not apologize for also having a life. And the quality of your art and writing has been very good so far.
So, no worries. Do what you have to do. The comic will still be here when you have the time to spare for it.
Love the latest strip. I like how you show that Cairo is uncertain if he can challenge Key successfully. A bit of macho posturing seems to be in the air; Bright seems less than enthusiastic at the prospect.
Of course, from Cairo’s perspective, he’s being reasonable. If Key is going off the deep end, then she’s not an acceptable leader and may even be a danger to the group. But she seems to have a degree of support that he lacks, and he’s trying to counter that.
Ah, primate politics…
Красота…
