Hello, internet.  Since I made the last post, a lot has changed.  We’ve been without the internet here until, well, just about now.  Obviously, this put a big damper on the whole webcomic thing.  Let me just say: ENOCH is not dead. New pages will probably be going up in November; I don’t want to make too many promises.  I hate to be so hiccupy at this point: story-wise, a lot is about to happen.  Chapter One is drawing to a close and the real odyssey is about to begin.

I recommend subscribing to the RSS feed.  It’ll tell you when we update, at which point I hope we can get back on schedule.  Thanks so much for sticking with us.  New readers, if you’re just now joining, please be patient.

Mel and I had to make a really difficult decision the other day.  We’ve been putting off making it for the past few weeks, but on Wednesday, we realized we were going to have to bite the bullet and do something we really didn’t want to do.  We’re going back to one post a week, on Friday.

We didn’t decide to do this lightly.  Between our full-time jobs and our paid commissions, Enoch was getting squashed.  We were rushing to shove it in, and frankly, the quality as of late has not been acceptable.  We can do better.  And we will.

September is Enoch month!

This month, in addition to posting our fiftieth page, we’ll be doing some revamping to the site, including a new fanart page and some changes to the about pages.  We’ll also be getting some Enoch goodies for your desktop up soon (the first one’s a Memphis wallpaper. ).

There’s a part of this site I’ve been neglecting to update regularly: the vote incentive for the Top 100 Webcomics.  In atonement, this month I’m putting a new vote incentive under the button every day. Today it’s just a simple pencil profile of Cairo for the next page.  Some days, it might be scans of our character references, WIP colors, or even pictures of the original scripts.

“How can I keep up with all the Enochy goodness!?!” you wail.  By following our Twitter.  In addition to tweets when the comic updates, this month I’ll be tweeting when I update the vote incentive, so you won’t miss a thing.

The bad news is we’re going to have to miss next Friday (Aug. 7th) and Monday’s (Aug. 10th) updates because of it.  Our new place won’t have internet access right away, so we’ll have no way of updating the comic.  We just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
